Araj + Zo- Wildwood, NJ- Micro Wedding

Getting Ready

After this wedding, I think I am officially on team micro-wedding! Everything about this day was absolutely perfect! Araj and Zo wanted a simple wedding focused on their closest friends and family. The day was just that! The weather could not have been more perfect. I spent the early afternoon hours with Zo as she got ready. It was so calm, peaceful, and relaxed as she prepared to finally walk down the aisle to marry the one she loves. I MEAN, LOOK AT HOW STUNNING SHE IS.

Ceremony and Family Pictures

The ceremony took place at Hereford Inlet Lighthouse. There was a gorgeous garden area to walk through before reaching the boardwalk overlooking the water. We returned to this garden for family and friends’ portraits after the ceremony.

The location was a secluded and utterly perfect spot for the ceremony! My father had the honor of officiating their wedding, making this day a little extra special for me. Araj and Zo exchanged the most beautiful and heartfelt vows; I don’t think there was a dry eye! I very nearly dropped my camera in pure delight when Zo ended her vows with the infamous line from Pride and Prejudice, “You have bewitched me body and soul, and I love you, I love you, I love you.” AHHHHHH

After the ceremony and family photos, Araj, Zo, and I snuck away to a nearby beach to take photos during cocktail hour. I AM OBSESSED! They were willing to try anything, and we truly had so much fun running around the beach, laughing, smiling, and celebrating them. Its hard to pick a favorite photo!

Reception - Intimate Dinner

Araj and Zo chose to have dinner at The MudHen Brewing Company, where they booked a room in the back and had an intimate dinner with their family and friends. I had the honor of sitting with Araj’s family, and I truly could not stop laughing. It was such a fun and memorable night! I left with a full heart and so grateful for what I do! It is truly such a blessing to meet so many amazing people!!!

FILM

Araj and Zo requested that I also shoot film for their wedding. It was my first wedding with film and I absolutely adore the colors and how they came out! I will definitely be offering this add-on for more weddings! See below!

Wishing Araj and Zo a lifetime of love and happiness! They are truly such a lovely couple, and I can’t wait to see all God has in store for them!

Love,
Sarah
